URA Prototype
URA Years of iterating the NVGRA with variants for different optics provided a template for a universal recoding adapter. Fundamentally, one needs to: place a beamsplitter optimally in the X,Y,& Z axis mount onto optics of various diameters The URA accomplishes this by: An adjustable clamping band alllows the URA to mount to optic diopter bodies of 30-40mm & 40-50mm, with each range being covered by a modular, swappable clamping band assembly. Z-axis adjustment screws allow the user to configure the distance from the clamping band assembly to the URA lens body. X-axis adjustment screws allow similar adjustment of the lens within the URA lens body. Similar to the NVGRA, the URA hosts the same modular camera cup interface. Unlike the NVGRA, the URA will likely be used in bright environments, requiring an eye cup assembly to be provided in the kit. Applications Microscopes Macroscopes Telescopes Binoculars ...
